A Rebel Gods of the Ancient Wisdom Novel

What would you think if a guy in a cave told you he was God?  Yeah, that’s what Manny thought - at first.  He’d done a bad thing for the right reason and now he’d fallen into the lair of a couple of crazy guys, and they needed his help to save the world and return the Kingdom of Heaven. This darkly comic yet thought provoking tale brings Manny, Isobel and her teenage daughter Inez into a whole new world of mysterious happenings. They’re all on the run, heading across the border, pursued by people they once trusted, hoping to meet each other once more.

Manny’s first great, tragic act of free will has sent them all tumbling into the unknown and now they must confront the purpose of their very lives and what little faith they still have left. On their own road trip like no other, each awakens into a startling new reality and the possibility that they may hold the key to the fate of the world. A wild ride of sex, drugs and rock ‘n’ roll brings them all to an explosive climax.

In that wild ride to find each other they start to piece together the apocryphal, secret history of the world.  And why “God” needs them to help avert the end of history.  Does any of this really matter, is any of this even real?  The answers leave them changed forever while the eternal battle still rages around them.

What they're saying about Finding God........

"From the moment when the protagonist Manny, fleeing from a Border Patrol chopper, falls into a cave and meets a character who announces himself as ‘God’, Fraser Wilkinson’s novel ‘Finding God’ is a book where every chapter is an irresistible invitation to the next one. The characters jump out from under the words to surprise the reader. Impossibly humorous and outlandish events take place in ‘ordinary’ places like Las Vegas. God finds himself trying to restore his waning powers by taking part in difficult human tasks like eating French fries. A miraculous birth is in the ether. It’s a riotous and sensuous treatise on man’s position in the universe and it cartwheels a lot of myths we once held as truths."
